Press Release: OC Speed Camp for Kids
Huntington Beach, Calif. June 22, 2008— The Orange County Speed Camp, is the premiere speed, agility and quickness training camp for children and teens. This camp is a two week training camp which will include exercises for improving sports performances in: track and field, wrestling, football, soccer, volleyball, hockey, baseball, and basketball.
This specific speed camp is designed for ages 11-17 years of age. There are exceptions though. If a child is younger than 11, yet expresses maturity and great athleticism, their admission to the speed camp can be determined upon an individual basis. Those younger will not be declined based upon their age, but by their ability and the way they conduct themselves.
The sessions are conducted and supervised by a professional training staff that will give the pre-teens and the teens the tools to reach their goals in a fast and safe manner. Each session the campers will be taught a variety of tools and techniques to improve their all around athleticism. Sessions will include: raw speed training, agility and quickness drills, power development drills, and mobility work.
Athletes can expect results by following the OC Speed Camp program. They will gain increased reaction time, mobility, and coordination. All campers will receive an official OC Speed Camp t-shirt; speed, agility, quickness, and power drills manual; personal evaluation of speed, agility, and power; and discounts on SoCal Speed Camp Team and Individual Training during 2008-2009 school year.
The upcoming speed camp begins July 7 and will last two weeks. The sessions are Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to noon. This two week OC Speed Camp is located at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex.
