OK bloggers, time to be semi-publicly held to my convictions. I've "tried" to lose weight a number of times before, but always seem to lose motivation.

I have 15 pounds to lose, and while this may not seem like too much to some, I shouldn't be at this weight and would be far healthier were I to weigh less. Gradual is OK, but sometimes I take "gradual" to mean "I can have this half-pint of Haagen-Dasz because I don't want to be obsessive about dieting", so I'll need to work on that a bit.

I have lost weight before though have not been able to do so in about three years. I look forward to having you all keep me to my word!
