My Goal - Fabulous and Forty
Hello out there!!! I don't know about you, but I have tried just about every diet available and to no avail. It all began after my first child. I picked up a few pounds and that's when my weightloss nightmare began. I've tried B12 shots, appetite suppressants, Metabolife, Atkins, Medifast, Health wagon, SlimFast, etc.......... I would lose a few pounds, but once I stopped the weight always came back and often doubled. I've realized that there are no quick fixes. In order to get to my optimal weight, I have to make lifestyle changes. I've stopped eating red meat and pork altogether. I've also started incorporating a weekly exercise routine which includes walking, yoga, and some other form of Cardio workout. My current goal is to be fabulous and forty. So, that gives me 3 years to reach my optimal weight and fitness level. I look forward to hearing about your experiences with weightloss/weightgain. I also welcome any comments/suggestions you have on helping me to reach my goal.

Good luck on reaching your goals and you are correct if you really want to be healthy then you need to make lifestyle changes. I recommend adding weight training as well to your exercise plan as you get older your muscle starts to deteriorate you can easily prevent this with some weight lifting. I wouldn't give up red meat and pork forever either, it does have its benefits. However make sure you follow the rule everything in moderation. I also recommend the book titled "You the owners manual" by Doctor Oz. This will set you in the right direction for living healthy forever.
