Porgress, FINALLY
I'm not looking at it as a new years resolution because I really think that winter (the time of hibernation) is not the proper time to make those types of goals.
Anyway, today I signed up for a Curves Gym membership. I'm actually super stoked about it. I went and got myself a nice workout today and I feel that if I do that three times a week, I'll be getting a good handle on my weight after some time. The trick for me is to make it a routine. If I can get that down, I'll be freaking super-girl! I can do anything. ;)

Go Girl
I used to work at a Curves and once you get in, it's fun. The one I worked at was high energy and fun. I looked forward to going to work. Employment came with a free membership so I know the workout can be hard, but it's SSSSSOOOO worth it. Just don't allow any excuses to creep in. It's only 30 minutes, 3 times a week. Anyone can find that kind of time, do it for your health. Supergirl.
Set your sights high or set them low; but set them somewhere!
Oh yea, it was so much fun.
Oh yea, it was so much fun. Not only did I have a friend there, but the woman who showed me how to use all the equipment was super nice, as well. I signed up as soon as the trial session was over and I'm so stoked to go back again Saturday.
I don't even feel sore, at all. I was expecting to be totally immobile the next day, but I'm actually feeling great. There are really only a couple of sore muscles, which are easily ignored. I'm hoping that this will build up enough energy and stamina so I can finally go roller-blading again (once the rain, freezing wind and winter in general goes away).
Yeah!!
That's great. I've found the more I enjoy a workout, the more I wanna do it. Curves is great for the we're working out but it's also social half-hour as well. It's hard to believe how fast the 3 rotations go when you're having fun. SO glad you like it. I am hoping to get back to work at the Curves by me after I have my baby. Working there is as much fun as working out there.
