Getting back to it...

In February 2007, I weighed 281...

I actually got down to 246 in July.

Then, I hurt my elbow. So, the lifting has slowed/stopped. It became difficult to just do the elliptical, but now, I see I have to. I am starting back with the cardio and eating right. Hopefully, I will work through the pain in my elbow (tendonitis, I believe) and slowly start back into the weight training.

Dont let the elbow get you down

Dont over do it and be sure to enjoy what you can do. When it comes to losing weight walking can be a great remedy. See carbs are burned when running for fuel but walking burns fat immediately. They say 10,000 steps a day and a healthy diet can make all the difference and as my own mother would tell you at 10lbs per month it certainly is possible. Use the site and try to find others in your area and try to get them to walk with you. It is amazing what length a walking partner can take you to.
