Well, it has been about 2 months since my last blog. Been a really hard 2 months to get through. Finally started working again, but now I am doing work offsite, and the temptations are definitely there. Always passing by fast food places. Trying to stay away, but they are still attracting me, and I have given into temptation numerous times. I really need to resist the temptation. It is really hard. I am still running 5.4km 2-3 times per week, but I have hit a plateau and am gaining some weight back. Yes I know that the fast food isnt helping, but I thought that the running would make up for it. I guess I was wrong. Yesterday I tried something different with my running. I have gone from running at a steady pace for 30 minutes, to running at intervals for 46 minutes. When I first read about running at intervals I thought it would be a lot easier, and couldnt see it as a way of burning more calaries and burning more fat. Let me say, it was a lot harder than I thought. I took a huge beating from that last night, and I really felt it afterwards. I was so tired afterwards. I can definitely see that the intervals are a lot better for you, and would help burn more calaries and burn more fat. I am definitely going to keep up with the interval running, as the regular steady pace running doesnt seem to be doing anything anymore. At least for right now. I am ready to get back on that health kick, and want to start losing weight again. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens.
