So many people today and some right here on this site want things the easy way. They want to lose weight but then they give up after a month they do not see changes, they want to bulk up but they do not want to break a sweat. Some people give excuses, like it is too difficult or I have problems doing that or they whine. I usually do not say anything even though it bugs the crap out of me, but not today.
For the past year there has been a guy in my health club I have seen come in every day he trains and he trains and he trains. Sometimes I even shake my head when I see him training because he goes all out. He has competed in 5k runs and done very well. Never won but he doesn’t do to bad. I have talked to him several times and he is has just such a positive attitude that when I walk away I am usually smiling. So now I know your sitting there thinking ok so what, this guy might be more motivated than us, but he has never won that 5k. Well, the guy is both Legally Deaf and Legally Blind and he is also 45 and the guy can run circles around me.
Need a little more inspiration, Next time before you whine and say well I guess this is the way god made me, yep heard this one this site, or think I can’t do that it is too tough, yep heard this one too. I want you to think about this legally deaf and legally blind guy is going to go climb Mount Kilimanjaro on September 12th.
I firmly believe anyone can do anything they put their mind to do. No one ever said it was going to be easy. You just have to be willing to put forth the effort.
For the news article on this and feel free to watch the video as well http://www.woodtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=6976580
Hopefully this guy give you a little inspiration when you think things are rough, however be forewarned you get no sympathy from me, I put my own work in and my own time, I have overcome injuries, bad times, and hard times. However this guy above should inspire anyone to keep pushing yourself and you would be amazed what you can do.
