4-day split by team g20

Hi!
I was wondering how often I should do the different parts, for example how often should I do day 1 and day 2 etc?
Sorry for asking such a stupid question, but I thought it would be better to do that than to do something wrong ;)

Thankies, Thomas

Not sure which 4 day split

Not sure which 4 day split your referring to. You have a link I could probably tell you.

However I will tell you this if you are planning a 4 day split that is 4 days on 1 day off then repeat. Some do a 4 days on then 2 days off. I seriously do not recommend something like that until at least a year after you have been training the body is just not built up to it. You really risk injury. But how you do it is say you have day one as chest and Triceps. You work Chest in the morning, then Triceps in the Evening. This is the split giving your body time to recoup some in the middle of the day. But again you are really seriously going to be torturing your body each workout. Then you will not work chest or triceps again until day one next round. This is extremely brutal and you need to know exactly what your doing for this kind of a workout.

If you are talking about a 4 day a week split like say you workout Monday Upper Body then Tuesday Lower Body. Take Wednesday off, Workout Thursday upper body then Friday lower body then take Saturday and Sunday off. Then each upper body and lower body workout you can work the same muscles I would advise doing different exercises for each muscle though. Like Monday Upper Body Do heavy barbell work, then Thursday do dumbbell work.
