Fell off the wagon

Ok, so last week was going well, but then starting Friday afternoon things started to turn downward. I went out to lunch with some friends at work, and didn't even need do, I just accepted the invitation instead of eaing my lean cuisine pizza, and ended up eating too much. That was compounded with a dinner that was not heathy (pizza).

Then on Saturday I volunteered at an event most of the day (8am - 4pm), I had a very light breakfast, and very light lunch, but the downside was that it was so light that I was famashed when I got home and overate before, during, and after dinner. Ugg! So Saturday was a wash ~ oh and to top it off, I didn't workout.

Sunday started out good, healthy breakfast. But then I was out with my father (who eat's really poorly, i.e. not healthy), and ended up overeating at lunch, which compounded into a sluggish afternoon, so no workout. Then I had a "comfort food" dinner which was totally unhealty.

So the weekend (and start of this week) has been a real falling off the wagon. But I'm getting back on ~ No More Excuses.

Oh, a BIG shout out to Elisa who is helping me out with my Fitness Training. Elisa, you are the BEST. Thank you.

Don't beat yourself up...

One thing I always have to remember is that I'm not trying to get fit for one particular event. I'm doing this to be healthy and active the rest of my life. A weekend filled with unhealthy choices makes the next week or two hard, but you won't drop dead tomorrow. Hope you have a great week.

Thanks

Thanks for the kind words, that's just what I needed to hear. I can be pretty darn hard on myself, so it's nice to be reminded that it's ok to fall down, just as long as we get back up.
