I read Women's Health and Men's Health regularly. Both seem to be pretty realistic and offer lots of good advice. I particularly like WH because the focus is on fitness, not lipstick and looking hot for your man. :)

I also have a subscription

I also have a subscription to Women's Fitness, and love the magazine. I like their sample workouts, and feel that they have a well rounded approach to fitness. I really appreciate that approach vs. some magazines that focus too much on beauty tips or style instead of overall health. If I want to read about fashion, I'll pick up a vogue, not a fitness magazine.

Men's Health and Muscle and

Men's Health and Muscle and Fitness are my two favorite I have to have monthly.

Men's Health I find to be pretty informational in the general health and nutrition department.

Muscle and fitness, I wouldn't be who I am today without it. I got into Body building and working out when Joe Weider was the king of muscle, he built Arnold up and led him to Olympia. I started following the Weider Principles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Weider I made massive gains quickly and well just became addicted to body building. I still try new body building methodology but if you really look at a lot of them they are all based off Weider's Principles. Anyway I find a lot of good information and workouts in M&F.

I love fitness magazines!

I subscribe to Self, Shape, Fitness, Oxygen, and Fitness Rx for women. They all have good articles, but I prefer the last two. Fitness Rx is loaded with LOTS of great articles and it takes me days to read everything. I think it's the best value.

I especially like the last two... I find the ads aren't overbearing either.
