I suppose right now I'm kind

I suppose right now I'm kind of doing both - I do meditations/bible reading to build up my spiritual side while doing my physical therapy/workouts to build up my physical side. I didn't necessarily connect the two although I did start both nearly at the same time and have been seeing improvements.

Still Learning

For me, holistic fitness is something that I have grown into and continue to grow into. My fiance pointed out to me the other day that I need to do more yoga because that was helping me with my vertigo. My mother wants me to look into Chinese herbs. My acupuncturist is probably going to recommend I explore hypnotherapy out of resignation that what he is doing isn't helping. I also am a Level II Reiki Practitioner. I love doing Qi Gong and Pranayama.

Today I saw a headline for an article about yoga being brought into the public school. The quick headline said that this was being done without the spiritual aspects of yoga. I don't see how this is possible. Yoga without the spirituality seems anathema. Sure, I understand that people do this all the time but that doesn't mean it makes sense to me.

But I could ramble on forever. And I'm just so new to all of this that I only speak from a naive enthusiasm and hopefulness.
