Place your hands on the edge of your couch with the front side of your body facing away. Your feet should be at a comfortable distance from the couch so that you can assume a bent-elbow position. Next, starting with your elbows straightened, slowly lower your body so that your butt moves closer to the floor while you bend at the elbows. Once you are as low as you can go and your shoulders and arms are at a 90-degree angle, straighten your arms and start over again. Focus on lowering and rising using only your arm muscles and not using your quads.
