Will Brink, is probably one of the smartest people out there in the fitness industry I know of, I own several of his books and they all make perfect and total sense. He wrote an article today Titled "The Big Picture of Permanent Weight Loss"

This has to be one of the best articles on weight loss I have ever seen. Some people will not like what he has to say but it is the truth.

To Quote Will to give you and excerpt:
So why don’t you see this type of honest information about the realities of long term weight loss more often? Let’s be honest here, telling the truth is not the best way to sell bars, shakes, books, supplements, and programs. Hell, if by some miracle everyone who read this article actually followed it, and sent it on to millions of other people who actually followed it, makers of said products could be in financial trouble quickly. However, they also know - as the man said - “there’s a sucker born every minute,” so I doubt they will be kept up at night worrying about the effects that I, or this article, will have on their business.

great article. realistic

Permanent weight loss is not about finding a quick fix diet, but making a commitment to life style changes that include nutrition and exercise

Great article Xyon. I feel good because it has been validating my approach to fitness and eating over the past year. Essentially, I've been working to make everything a permanent part of my life, and not a short term activity. I am truly modifying who I am at the core in order to gain long term results.

Sounds good...

I am glad to know that there are people out there who support healthy weight loss, and not just weight loss but healthy lifestyles. I'm pretty tired of people losing weight just to be skinny...how about being healthy? :)

Great link, I'll be sharing

Great link, I'll be sharing that one around.

By the way, regarding the title of this thread: It's "lose", not "loose". Loose is what you want your current pairs of pants to be after you've lost weight.

Kudos for this post :)
