Because no one else wants to hear it

I've decided to blog my daily fitness efforts (or lack thereof) because I highly doubt my friends would want to hear the specifics of what I ate, what physical activity I participated in, and how I felt about both. I try to maintain order in my life, but my lazy tendencies usually prevent me from attaining the organization I long for. Basically I want to cover 1-5 topics or so in each entry (physical activity, food, social, school, apartment, in no particular order).

1. food: for breakfast around a very lazy 10:30am i had 2 pieces of toast and sunny side up, using up quite a bit of butter, b/c i am a butter addict and am not ready to quit. butter tastes good. i also had a cup of cranberry juice, and tea w/cream and 4 cubes of sugar, b/c lately i have become a sugar addict, which is partly the inspiration for this blog. blogging the sugar habits further acknowledges this problem, and soon i will do something about it, but not today b/c i'm about to have another cup of tea w/4 cubes of sugar and some cream.

update: and then i had 1/2 a chicken salad sandwich, and strawberries w/sweetened condensed milk. for dinner i had rice and sablefish and a coke.

2. fitness & social: i'm meeting up w/a new friend, who is a friend of a friend of a friend, whom i have befriended, for yoga at a studio later. both of us do yoga at our gyms, but the experience of a studio makes a difference. it feels more like a personal practice whereas i feel that in a gym setting it is difficult to not be fully aware that you are in a class w/other people, in a very noisy gym.

update: she ended up cancelling b/c she had a project at work, so i did yoga at my gym, which was great anyway b/c today's class was taught by my favourite yoga instructor, and it was quite a challenging class today. and then i tried to run on the treadmill but i'm not a runner and it was hard and i didn't last long.

3. school: i have to finish reading a book now, b/c it has been recalled from the library and it is on my comps list and the book is due today. perhaps it will need to be returned late. perhaps, 10pm. you'd think i could do it in time, seeing as i'm halfway done, and i don't have to meet my friend until 5:30, 20 min. away from my apartment. but i am queen of procrastination, and hopefully writing this blog to acknowledge this will help me in my efforts to change.

update: i did end up returning it at 10pm, and it was raining, and so now i'm in a foul mood.
