Here We Go
This is going to be another attempt at weight loss. I'm hoping it's my final try and even in saying that I know that it's going to have to be forever but as a total lifestyle change. I used WW in the past and it worked so that's what I'm going to use again. I've tried an OA diet that seemed to be too restrictive for me and all others have failed for pretty much the same reason. I just have to be sure to journal everything that goes into my mouth, keep my workouts up and drink plenty of water. Hopefully, this time, it sticks, works and I become a happier me...for me.

Good luck. Remember 1 lbs of
Good luck. Remember 1 lbs of fat is 3500 calories it is healthy to loose 2-3 lbs a month. You do not have to have a bad diet either I never really follow a diet. I just watch my calories plan my meals out. Eat 6 healthy light meals a day to boost metabolism. For example during the week i eat oatmeal for breakfast, made with milk, and I add half a scoop of protein powder. I eat this because it is good for you but also fast and easy during the week. However this is 410 calories 26 grams of protein 54.5 grams of carbs and 10.5 grams of fat. sometimes I add berries if I have some around so this ups the carbs and calories some.
On the weekend though I might make some awsome omlets at maybe just breaking 500 calories and much higher in protein. Or one of my favorites I buy some whole grain english muffins, go to the deli and buy some extra thick cut extra lean canadian bacon, then scramble a couple eggs and add a piece of cheese and i got a breakfast sandwich that tastes much better than McDonalds and half the calories. They come in at about 310 calories each. So I have one with some fruit or yogurt or something for my first meal of the day and then have another for the second meal of the day. Yes you do have to get creative like that but you can eat some rather tasty meals.
Dang it beside making myself hungry I just realized your a girl so you probably weigh half as much as I do so your calory intake will be a bit less. But you can still have some great meals. Maybe just the breakfast sandwich and no extra fruit or stuff. See some of my other tips in the nutrition forum as well. Lowfat salad dressing and lowfat peanut butters and stuff are actually bad for you and will make you gain weight.
Thanks
Yep, I'm a girl :)~ Most of what you are saying I learned when I first lost the weight on WW. BUT I did not know about the lowfat peanut butter! Thanks for that tip. I try to eat small meal through out the day and make sure I never skip breakfast. The one thing I don't want is for me to skip or skimp meals and then slow down my metabolism. Just gotta press onward... :)
