Crash and burn... kinda. So this past two week I lost it and indulged a bit (or more)... I've eaten out for dinner for most evenings, add in dessert and leftovers for the huge ass porstions resaurants give you and its not a pretty picture (but tasty one ;-). Granted I didn't do all that bad durning the work week, as I did manage to keep most meals other than dinner under control and on track. I figured out of 30 meals durning the work week, about 24 of the them were good each week. Part of I think what lead to the bread down is me not putting much effort into finding new and exciting meals to cook at home which meet my macros. I feel in the the same-old-same-old day-in-day-out routine. Most of my meals out were for things I haven't had in a while... cheese italian pasta, curry, sheperds pie, bbq, sushi, burrito, pizza. At home I typcially end up eating stir-fry, salads, and variations on a chicken & brocolli or chick & potatos. It was a nice change, but starting this week I need to buckle back down and get back down to one cheat meal per week instead of per day as its been recently. I have to say, I'm at least happy that I've maintained my weight for the most part... my weight yesterday (Sat) morning was 164.5 @ 18.8% BF.

As for workouts, they've been ok. I have managed to try a few new variations on things in an effort to spice up my workout with limited success. The on I tried that I like was the inverted row, even did the inverted row with my feet on a swiss ball. The one I didn't like was the good mornings, as I pointed out earlier a rolling pin on the shoulders is not very fun. I've also tried switching from dumbbells to the equivlent cable exercise which has worked out ok. I think I may try and do more with the swiss ball to engage that "core" strenght stuff the staff the gym is always hyping on, if nothing else just for a change of pace. Of course this means I will need to switch from heavy low reps to light hight reps, as I found out when I tried the cable shoulder press on the ball and almost fell over because the weight was too much and ball rolled backwards as I almost fell off.
