Where to start... Let me first say that I looked in the mirror today and can honestly say that I'm in the worst shape of my life. I've never weighed so much and looked so terrible. I was married to my beautiful wife last May and I hate to admit that I've been packing it on ever since. I was very health conscious before we were married and I don't know how I let it slip for this long. Needless to say, it's affecting other areas of my life as well. I know from experience that for me the times when I've been in peak shape physically, I am also in better shape mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Not to sound too far out there, but when I'm active and woking out I can definetely tell a difference in my day to day life. I personally experience a rise in self confidence and a desire to improve and build on the things that I am accomplishing. That being said, I want to keep a balance in my life, my diet and my work outs. I'm planning to run, swim, lift, play basketball and cycle my way to a leaner body and a healthier lifestyle. I would love to look fit and lean by my first wedding anniversary, so that's my time goal. I believe my target weight should be around 205 to 210 pounds, that may change as I go. I'm glad to have a few friends along to help me out and to keep me motivated, wish me luck!
