Fit fitness into your normal daily routine
ririanproject.com has a sweet article about "fitness into your busy day is to make it convenient."
It summarizes 5 key ways to squeeze fitness into your day, including:
Turn TV Time Into Exercise
If TV is a must-see for you, it’s easy to let it cut into your workout time. But fitness doesn’t have to mean foregoing your favorite shows. How about working in a workout in front of the tube? Even fitness experts find TV-watching workouts helpful - and sometimes, a necessity.
It is absolutely possible to improve your fitness level in front of the TV, if the intensity is adequate, just as it is quite possible to go to a fitness center several times per week and NOT improve your fitness level. Given how much TV most of us watch, exercising at the same time is not a bad idea. Studies show that American men average 29 hours a week of TV watching, while women rack up about 34 hours. That gives us a lot of time to fit in some extra activity. Everyone can do push-ups or sit-ups during commercials.

What exercises?
I think exercising during the consumption of tele is a great idea. but what exercises can we do?
I did a complete workout
I did a complete workout (pilates, xball, crunches) during the Biggest Loser last night... I COULD have done my cardio also, but I didn't want to leave the livingroom (treadmill is in my son's room)..lol It makes the time FLY and you don't realize that you are exercising...
I usually do this if I am bored during a program, see a commercial that triggered hunger, or just plain hungry... It usually takes my mind off of it!
Trying hard
hmm i don't quite have access to such equipment. so are there any type of simple fat-burning exercises?
The pilates was just from a
The pilates was just from a tape that I have and the crunches can be done from a tape with or without equipment. You can do basic weights, if you are just starting out, by using cans of veggies, bottle of water (or gallons..lol), etc. You can suppliment with things around the house. Biceps curls, tricep extensions, dead lifts, squats, lunges, and shoulder press exercises can be done without "equipment".
Hope that helps...
Thank you
