A before and after picture. The front cover being before, the back cover (or last page) being afterwards?

Or, alternatively, you could create a web version of your book that people can send to their friends and so forth.

Or -- you could always let them track their progress on gimme20.com :)

Well best training book i

Well best training book i ever seen was one muscle beach years ago. This one had a routine in it, but not just one routine, a routine for the next year. A lot of times and I am not saying yours are this way but a lot of times I see personal trainers give out a book with maybe 1 single routine in it. Ok that would be advice number one. Give them something for their value.

The other thing this book had in it was pictures of proper ways to do every single exercise. Much like here on gimme20.com. However I realize getting photos of every exercise is time consuming. So when my sister became a personal trainer I told her this idea. Well if you have some computer skill and not a computer programmer expert and willing to learn a new program well then you can create all these on your own through software. I recommend Poser this allows you to take human forms from pre-made 3d models and pose them then render them into an image. While it can do a lot more with extra add ons and different rendering engines and additional models as it is really a high quality graphic artist tool specifically for posing humans but the very base model would be perfect for doing this.

3rd thing in this book I seen that wowed me. Every exercise was specifically written about again very much like here at gimme20. Anyway each exercise explained how to do it. Variations like when you should and should not use the variations. For Example Barbell Triceps Extensions, this can be done standing or sitting why you would choose one way over the other or why you wouldn’t and why you would alternate between standing and sitting every other time. Also tips and advice, Squats come to mind because I showed this to someone today, tip if you find your ankles aren’t flexible enough try putting a 2 X 4 under your heels. Also Gotcha and things to watch out for things you see people do every day on certain exercises, for example the silly guy I seen today trying to do a standing barbell curl the same weight as me, he was swinging his hips so hard to get the barbell moving I thought he was going to make love to the barbell or the guys that bounce the bench press off their chest. Stress the importance of it is not how much weight you lift but the form of the exercise that is more important.

One thing I would love to see personal trainers stress is Gym Etiquette and safety and would really applaud you if this was the first thing in the training book. You know things like wipe the machines and benches down when your done. Rack your weights when done and Rack them right, putting a 10 on the bottom behind a bunch of 45s is really unacceptable. A list can be found here I am sure you can think up more. Safety well you do have to remind people for some reason simple physics. When you have a barbell with large wights on each side you can not just pull them all off one side at once this will cause the bar to flip as there is too much weight on the other end. I have seen this, it is not pretty.
