Exercise Steps

Step 1

Grab a chinup bar with a shoulder-width overhand grip and hang from the bar with your knees slightly bent and feet together. (If you have access to elbow supports -- slinglike devices that hang from the bar -- you may prefer to use those.)

Pull your hips up and in, lifting your knees as close to your chest as possible.

Pause, then slowly lower your hips and legs to the starting position.
