Hey guys,

Just started using this - looks pretty good and isn't as bloated as some of the other ones are.

Anyway, I think there's a bug with the measurements system. I created a new measurement (hours of sleep), entered in a value for today (Nov 6 2006), however, in the list of entries underneath the graph, the date is recorded as Nov 5 2006. I think you guys may have forgotten to take the timezone into account for the list of entries.

Also, if you guys are suggesting 'hours of sleep' as a measurement, I think you should add 'hours' as a unit.

Speaking of timezones, what timezones are you guys in? I'm in Victoria Australia, which is usually +1000 or +1100 UTC/GMT depending on daylight saving, yet when I set my timezone the +0800 time is the right one.

One more thing - can you please add Victoria as a state/province of Australia? Members are putting Melbourne (capital of Victoria) into New South Wales, which is another state. You're also missing the states of Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory (ACT), whose capitals are Darwin and Canberra respectively.

Keep up the good work!

More timezone bugs

Submitted by samuel337 on November 5, 2006 - 9:57pm.

As I said before, I have my timezone set to +0800.

Now, when I enter my workout schedule, I pick 7:30am, according to my local time. However, when I save it, it lists my workout time as 3:30pm (7:30am + 8 hrs). I think you forgot to take into account that when I enter in the workout time, I'm entering that in terms of my local timezone, not your timezone.

Ronn is on the case

Ronn is currently looking into this problem.

1) Are you getting reminders at inappropriate times?

Thank you for helping us out squashing this bug.

I've got reminders turned

Submitted by samuel337 on November 6, 2006 - 8:31pm.

I've got reminders turned off, so not sure about that.

Not sure if you've done anything already but the workout problem seems to have been fixed except:

For my workout schedules, if I click edit and set the time to 7:30am, it will save properly and all my workout times are changed correctly. However, my workout schedule still lists the time WITHOUT the timezone difference. If I click edit again on my workout schedule, the correct time is displayed in the time selection drop-down box. So its probably just a small bug on the my fitness page in the workout schedules section.

Example:
Next 5 Workouts
Thu Nov 9 7:30am 3 Day Split - Day 1 - Leg... Change date and time | Cancel

Schedules
3 Day Split - Day 1 - Legs & Delts: every week on Mon, Thu at 3:30pm starting Nov 06

Should be fixed now

Samuel,

Thanks for the clarification. The timezone correction was actually called twice by accident for that section. Thanks helping us fix it.

Jordan: I opened up this thread (and others) on Opera and the text are underlined.

Hey samuel337 -

Can you confirm you are no longer getting this bug?

Thanks a bunch!

Whoops, forgot to keep track of this thread.

The bug with the workout schedules has been fixed, thanks.

However, the following bug still exists:

Can you fix that last remaining bug?

Hi Sam, Fixed the timezone

Hi Sam,

Fixed the timezone error on fitness page. I will add that unit when I can. Thanks for the suggestion. Do have other units in mind to add? I was thinking of temperature (celcius/farenheit).

Yep, I can confirm that the bug in the measurements section has been fixed. Thanks again.

The only other unit I can think of is speed, in both km/h and mph, which would be useful for those keeping track of their max speed (or is this tracked in the workout section? not sure, as I'm not doing any cardio at the moment).
