Weight Loss Progress Report

I just turned 37 last week, and unfortunately since my move to Beijing a year and a half ago, my health and physical fitness has taken a nose dive. I've blamed it on:
1. My hectic job as General Consel at a busy internet company here
2. Lack of good produce here in Beijing and abundance of meat
3. Women tend to weigh more here so it doesn't matter
4. Why do I need to look good for?
5. Couldn't find places to hike
Truth of the matter is I've been feeling more and more lethargic and for some reason my motivation for going to the gym has decreased and many of times I would drive toward the gym and ended up at home or at some restaurants chowing down more food.
Another update
Been about 2 weeks since my last blog, so I thought I would post an update. Tonight I finished the best run I have ever had. I had so much energy, and actually ran a little longer. From my last run back on May 10th, I ran the same distance 3 minutes and 15 seconds faster. I couldnt believe how much energy I had. I dont think I had this much energy even as a child or teenager. Im not sure if I broke through a fat barrier or something, but whatever it was, I feel great. I usually run 5.4 km, but after my run, and about 1 minute walking, I decided to run almost another 1km.
As for my candida cleanse, I completed the first 10 days, and now have added fruit into my diet. I have lost 14 lbs in the last 2 weeks, which is amazing. I was figuring that I would lose between 20 - 30 lbs on this cleanse, so I am well on my way. I am now feeling better than I have in the last 5 years at least. I am so focused into getting fit and losing this excess weight. Only 54 lbs left to lose. I know I can do it.
Progress Report
It has been almost 3 months since my new years revolution. I have lost no weight since then, and believe that I may have gained a few pounds. I have still have not drunk and pop, and am really proud of that. Spring has just arrived, and believe that I might start losing weight as I can now go out for walks and runs. Really looking forward to it. Wish me luck. Turn 30 in about 8 1/2 months, and want to be below 230.
