It’s been several decades since Bobby McFerrin (Yes, Bobby McFerrin, not Bob Marley) wrote the hit song “Don’t Worry be Happy” and yet we still can’t, well, quit worrying and get happy.

Whether it’s the kids, work, or a to-do list that simply won’t quit, the reality is there are hundreds of sources of stress in our lives and very few real ways (short of hiring a personal assistant, and even that’s no guarantee!) to deal with them…or are there?

Hello,

Yesterday a dear friend asked me if I wanted to walk with her in the mornings since I am home. I agreed and I start on Thursday speed walking the malls with her. We both have little babies so we need the companionship and the exercise to lose those stubborn pounds.

I have been working out but fell off due to a severe cold/flu I got last week. And with the stress of looking for work I have not been the same in the exercise arena this week.

We all face exhaustion now and then, especially after a hard day of work, lack of sleep, poor health, stress and or just from living in today's day in age.

Lack of sleep is a leading health complaint in North America. Virtually everybody is affected by the feelings accompanying fatigue-weariness, and or lack of energy. Drowsiness is the need to sleep whereas fatigue is a case of not getting enough sleep. Sometimes feeling fatigue is the expected response after a heavy work-out. Feeling exhausted isn't a worry in this case. Just ensure to eat plenty of protein and complex carbs in order to repair the muscle cells you destroy during your intense workout.
