Last night after class, I jogged a mile... and tonight I went out again and jogged another mile. It's not much... but - baby steps.

Ok.. skipped 2 weeks of workouts... I was distracted by a friend who was visiting.. hadn't seen her since she PCS'd from Japan...
But I'm back with the workouts again.. modified my schedule a little though...
Did some running last night... only got 1 mile in though... buut... baby steps.. no?
My fat percentage has gone down slightly... though not my weight.. but that's ok... means I've gained a little bit more lean muscle mass (which weighs more than fat), and lost a little bit of fat...

Another day...

Got my strength training in today... Tomorrow's cardio again. Will probably hit a treadmill at the gym for that one.
I reallllyyy hope that within the next week or two I'll start to notice some positive changes....

I was almost done blogging - and this stupid website decided to magically empty out and go back to the previous page. Not the first time its done that either...
But anyway - I sipped a couple of days of workouts - though in my defense, it was because my legs were too sore to do much... wanted my muscles to recover before I strained them out again lol.. (and the website just did a freaky, leave the typing space again *sigh*)

Day #3

Made it to day #3... and I decided to re-weigh myself and re-measure myself. I'm going to do this after every weight training workout (every other day, and skip on Sunday). I know I'd probably be better off doing this once a week... but this will give me a closer idea of what's going on. My body measurements have actually gone down slightly in just two days - though some of this can easily be accounted for as water retention and bloating, I suspect. But - given a month of measurements - if the numbers keep decreasing, even if by fractions - I'll know I'm making progress!

It's only day two of my new routine, and I almost forgot it already!!
But - I dragged myself to the gym anyway to do the elliptical cross trainer. I meant to go at it for 30 minutes, but had no energy. I went tot he gym straight after waking up (I'm starting to shift my schedule more to my husband's - and he's on night shift.)
I wound up at least making the good ol' AF standard of 1.5 miles - and did that in 14 minutes and 1 second! (This btw, is about as good as I got with the mile and a half run while I was active duty lol - so I'm pretty pleased here)

Start again

I'm starting my workout routine over again. It's been a long time since I followed it, and I know I need to. I'm hoping with being on this website it will help keep me motivated to continue my workouts and reach my goals of fitness. I'm late with today's scheduled workout - but I'm doing it anyway!
Sunday will be the designated "rest" day... I have some form of exercise scheduled for all the other days... strength training every other day, coupled with cardio running on days not working with weights. Yay!
