Nutritionist

I have been working out now since November, 5 months. I can honestly say that the last two months of that time I have been putting in some serious effort working out 2 - 3 times per week, weight training and cardio, trying to eat healthily... but as I'm not seeing any results. I have gained about 8 pounds which I knew would happen as a result of "Body Pump" (Amazing Weight Training Class at Goodlife Fitness) but am not seeing or feeling any difference in size to go along with it. One pair of my pants is actually tighter!

Still Making the Effort :)

I have decided, just today actually, that I will start going to the gym EVERY weekday after work :)

Unfortunately, I have no belief that I will actually go every day... but I figure if I tell myself that, the pattern will be set up so that I end up going more often than I do now.

Doing all right so far

After a huge problem with the gym and it's (lack of) customer service I have actually started working out. I have been doing 20 minutes of elliptical cardio Monday, Wednesday and Friday for about two weeks now, kind of as a warm up. This week I am going to start doing come circuit training as well. It feels great, already I get excited to go. While I have seen no results yet (2 hours of cardio does not a supermodel make) I am glad I got back on the horse and have excellent expectations of the future.

One Week Wait - Gym Membership Starts November 1st

I haven't been to the gym in a year and a half due to hyperthyroid which made the heart rate monitors on the elliptical trainers go banana's as soon I got on. I have finally gotten it under control through drugs which have made me, for lack of a more polite term, fat. So It's back to the gym for me.
