Didn't Want To Workout

When I finished work yesterday I was exhausted. I didn't want to work out and had even napped on the commute home. I had no intention of exercising. After getting the mail and decluttering the kitchen I went upstairs to find my wife already in her workout clothes. That sealed it, if she was working out, I was working out, like it or not. She's the best motivator I know and she doesn't even have to say a word.

I will do this.

Twenty Pounds Down

A few months back I felt I was getting heavier, and started to weigh myself regularly, I was hitting the scales at 233 lbs., and my belly was getting noticeable. I've been watching what I eat, eating systematically, doing cardio, and strength training. As of this weekend I hit one of my target goals and officially lost a total of 20 pounds. Twelve and a half more to go before I'm down to 200.

I will do this.

My Goals

My weight has fluctuated ever since I was a teenager and I'm sick of it. I've had bursts of motivation in the past that has resulted in some weight loss and muscle gain but not enough to keep me motivated. In some instances I was exercising a lot, but my diet was poor, other times my diet was good, but I was too sedentary.

I've changed my diet and developed a new exercise program that I believe I can maintain. So far I've dropped 18 pounds and want to lose around 15 more and develop some more muscle mass. My goals are low body fat and a healthy physique.

I will do this.
