How I gained 13 kgs and lost my selfrespect

This is how I gained 13 kgs and stopped feeling great...

1. Change your workingsituation. Leave your great outdoors job for something indoors. Preferably in an office or at least at a desk. I left the army two years ago to be a student = less physical activity and more brain activity!

2. Stop being single. Go into a new relationship or even better move in together. Start going out to nice restaurants. Always have dessert! Stop going out on fridays and saturdays with friends and stay home wih your love instead. Have a nice homemade dinner (and make sure to put lots of oil, cream or butter in the food) and round it up in the sofa, watching a film while eating dessert, nice belgian chocolate (or after a while any chocolate, crisps whatever) and drink wine (after a while any kind of alcohol and fizzy drinks). I met the love of my life ~2 years ago....

Overeating or just enjoying a nice dinner???

I'm back from dinner with friends, The hostess served lovely healthy vegetarian food, wine and fruit sallad for dessert. I ate loads! One full plate of sallads, grains and roasted vegtebles, pita bread, and wine, booth red and white.
I was full after dinner but couldn't resist the fruit sallad so I served myself a fairly large portion but I could only finish half of it.

Clearly my body has gotten used to smaller portions and reacted when I ate too much.
The problem isn't the amount of food though, the problem was the sense of loosing control and the fear of overeating.

Anyways I'm too tired to write more tonight and god knows I need my beauty sleep

The perfect diet-breakfast!

I'm jus back from walking across half of Sockholm. The whether is nice, not too warm neither too cold, unfortunately this is the Nordics so this perfect whether won't stay for long.

Walking in the morning really gives you an appetiet and I really enjoyed todays bowl of porridge. I don't think many people like porridge but I will give you a great recepie that will change your breakfast habits!

The ultimate finess porridge:

1 dl of porridge oats (prefereble with extra fibre, unless you are sensitive to that)

1 table spoon of sunflower seeds (not roasted or salted)

1 table spoon of "linfrö", trying to find a translation of this into english. It's a small seed approx the size between sunflower seeds and psyllium seeds, brown.

Getting healthy!

Hi everyone!
First of all I´d like o apologise, my english isn't perfect and I'm sure I make loads of misstakes wriing, but I don't really care. Hope you don't either!

My story starts here, today (or acctually 2 days ago). I'm a binge eater. I have always eaten a lot, more than alot and sometimes huge amounts which made me sick. But I have never made myself throw up after eating. This has not been a problem before because I used to exercise a lot and I was in good physical condition.

I used to be in the Army but nowadays I'm studying at the university which means a lot of sitting and less natural workout (like walking, standing, doing regular every-day things without thinking abou it) and more eating while sitting. This has resulted in a body that I dont like. I still have some strenght but I have put on some kilos and (I cant find the word for this...help me I you can) I get more tired when running or doing any kind of cardio. I'm still on vacation but I have decided to take better care of myself, starting now, because I know I'll perform better in university and I feel better when I am in shape.
