What did I do?

What in the world did I do? Before today the last day I worked out was the 22nd of December. I weighed myself this morning and I was down TWENTY POUNDS! If I could figure out what I did, I'd make a mint. But only if I can keep it off.

I do have a history of massive weight loss over a short period of time. I lost around 100 pounds over a nine week period when I went through Navy boot camp. That was back when I was much younger though. Even then I was sick as a dog for at least two days.

I put that loss down to going from cool and comfortable Washington State down to hot humid Florida in April and May.

Gotta make time

I'm finding the holidays tough and the weather isn't helping any with getting in shape. I'm looking at the fitness equipment available at the community center gym and I'm trying to match up exercises to the equipment that are listed on the site. All this so I know that I'm working with different muscle groups each day in rotation. I'm not so crazy as to sit down and attempt to do every calf exercise there is. I'm just trying to ensure I work all the muscles in my legs one day, back and belly another, and arms on a third.

Trying to get started.

Long story short I've decided to start exercising in earnest. Slightly longer story, my doctor mumbled something bout a treadmill test.

Longest story:

I'm a picky eater. I usually pick stuff that's not good for me. I always have been. Back in my youth some twenty plus years ago I went through Naval basic training and dropped around 100 lbs in 9 weeks. Not healthy I know. Over the next ten years I slowly gained it all back and kept going. Now I am trying to start working at loosing a lot of it again. I KNOW I can't do the same thing I did in boot camp, which was basically cut back to one meal in the morning and the occasional one or two more additional meals during the day, (depending on what they were serving at the mess hall) I don't have restricted movements so food is readily available to me.
